30 hours

I just thought I would share how court went.

Walter and I first went to the wrong courthouse...so we quickly walked to correct one.

We got into the room, and it was kind of like what you would expect. Wooden benches, podium before where the judge sat. And we were in there with probably 40 people.

One at a time the judge called people up in alphabetical order and really just gave everyone a plea in abyence or you know...they plead not guilty and they have another court.

Everyone that was in there was there for DUI's, public intoxication, domestic violence...lot of domestic violence.

And then there was this poor woman who was in there because her dog wasn't on the leash. Which...sucks.

But when Walter was called up (he and I both have M last names,Ma and Mc, so I was shortly after). Apparently, the prossicuter laughed and the judge really wanted to.

And really, I think had it been up to the Judge, we wouldn't have even really gotten a sentence. But that isn't how those kinds of courts work.

30 hours community service, 120 days to complete it. :)

And then our records are clear. So it's all good!

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. I certainly did :)
