I have never been so happy to see my Grandma leave.
I'm not normally so excited...but holy cow.
First, I was using my moms hammer and nail kit to hang up a Santa Clause picture, my Grandma sees me using and it says "Only your mother can use that!"
Then, sometime later, I sat down at the table with a glass of chocolate milk and pecan pie (which wasn't very good to being with) when my Grandma looks up from what she's doing and says "Wouldn't it be tragic if you got fat?"
The pie was given to my Grandpa.
THEN! At the mall, I was being a bitch out of hell to everyone who pissed me off...and my grandma only made things worse by saying things like "THIS is what your mother wants for chirstmas, I know" and when I told her what I was going to get her, she said "JESSICA! A $300 PURSE! YOUR MOTHER DOES NOT WANT THAT!" and she want on to say to my Grandpa how she NEVER wants him to get her a $300 purse.
And of course, on the car ride home, I was showing my mom what I got Walter and my Grandma interjects "Oh Jessica, you should only spend between $5 to $10 on any one person and you should shop at the dollar store! You'll save so much money that way."
My Grandma isn't poor...REALLY not poor.
I think it's tacky to buy gifts from the dollar store, especailly if you've get $50,000 for doing NOTHING, and that the entire $50,000 is for you to do whatever the hell you want with (they bought their house in full and their cars as well).
My Grandma was given a lot of evil death stares to the back her head...
Good news though, my grandparents are going to pay for a huge chunck of my college. And if my parents will pay the $4000 a year they said they would, school will only cose me personally, about $2000 a year.
I think that's fantastic.
