I'm so uncomfortable!
Yesterday I had to wake up at 5 in the morning to go have an operation on my foot. It wouldn't have been so bad had my family not been acting like it was my fault they had to get up so early.
Whatever.
We got there, the nurses got me right back, I had to pee in a cup, I had to try on 3 different gowns before I found one that wasn't broken. And everyone (nurses mostly and my doctor) continuely asked if I had marked the foot being operated on "yes"
N-did your mark you foot?
M- yes...
N-with what?
M- a pen
N-did you write yes though?
M-Yes
N2-Did you mark your foot?
M-yes.
N3-Did you...
M-yes, why is this such a big deal?
N3-accidents happen more often than you think
Needless to say I was very reassured. :p
The operation went well. I'm very uncomfortable though. Not from pain so much as it is I can't really move well, I can't sleep in a good position, and the only book I have to read is too difficult to focus under these conditions.
So here I sit. Bored. Uncomfortable and very alone, as my family has left me for the morning.
Which is sucky for me, but I'm very excited for the reason. Evan is trying out for a junior olympic soccer team!!!
I hope he knock e'm dead.
Last night Walter came over for a while to visit. I very much enjoyed his company. Sadly, I don't think I'll be seeing much of him because he's studying to take the SAT this saturday. And given is circumstances, he really wants to do as well as he can on it.
I stink. I need to go figure out how on earth I'm supposed to shower without killing myself.
