Oh how I love rainy days.
You know what I love even more?
Sleep.
I feel so deprived of it.
Anyway, last night was sort of sucky. I dragged Walter all over creation (2 malls and a sports store) looking for a pair of shorts that I didn't think exsisted.
Lucky for me, the last place we looked, had them ^_^.
I needed them for the Miss Copper Hills Pageant that is tomorrow!!! I'm so excited. It's going to be fun.
Except my prom dress still doesn't fit, but what good is duct tape if not for taping my chest down?
Soooo, there was a change of plans with what was allowed and not allowed with my foot operation. Walking one week after the surgery is a no go.
I have to be on crutches for 3 weeks if I want to be walking without the boot at 4 weeks. It's all good though.
Crutches for 3 weeks is nothing compared to crutches for 8 weeks. I'll manage.
I'm just thrilled to be getting this operation done and over with!
AHAHAHA! No more foot surgeries as long as I live!
*knocks on wood*
Anyway, back to the pageant, I'm slightly nervous for me interview...last year I bombed it!
Interviewer: What was the best thing about this school year?
Me: Well, I think...just, Homecoming! Just because, it was just, you know, it was just really neat to see ever one just dressed up, just...
Interviewer: What's your favorite book
Me: Not without my Daughther
Interviewer: Why?
Me: It's just, well, just, just...it was just an extremely inspiring book...just.
Yeah, I might be exagerating a little, but really, only a little.
I told myself going into it that I would not say "um"...so instead, I replace "um" with "just" which was way worse.
This year, I'm just going just not talk when I'm just thinking about what I'm just going to say.
yep.
No, I'll be just calm down, actually wear something cute...Make Walter give me a HUGE ego boost before I leave for the interview.
I think Walter is going to take me to go see Saw!!! Maybe...I might have misunderstood and I might have to pay, in that case, we won't be seeing it due to my need of a Louis Vuitton bag.
And yes, it is a need. I will die without it.
Shoot. I'm starving and I still have 35 minutes before class lets out for lunch! ARG!
OHOHOHOHOH!
I forgot, I wrote a letter to editor last night in fit of rage (well, ha, I re-wrote it...but still!) The paper called me this morning and it's going to be put in the paper!!!
And I'm soooo happy!!!Because it's in reponse to a grade A asshole's letter.
Here, I found the letter:
"How sad it is when we are cowed by the “Anti-Civility Liberty Union,” ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), to the point that we dare not say, “Hell no, there isn't going to be any gay anything club in public schools!”
Public schools are for getting educated, not for pampering misguided students in abnormal clubs that have no goal but to propagandize their sexual desires during school or after school on public property.
The above-mentioned ACLU desires only to burn every word of the Constitution, abolish religion, decency and make every citizen march in lock-step to their dictatorial interpretation of the law. If our judges and legislators would study the Constitution and the laws of their states, the ACLU would be out of business.-Leo J. Lee"
I was soooooooooooooooooo pissed off after reading that letter. So pissed off. I went off about it the entire car ride to the doctors yesterday.
Lol, my dad wrote a letter too, but his was meaner and probably won't get in the paper.
